So far, "and" more than suffices when the urge to "but" hits. Actually, I feel ready for a test. I may have avoided the "b" word all day. Tomorrow I'll have to track it. Anyone wanna follow me with a recorder?
Others seem to be smiling at me a lot. It's hard to tell why. Perhaps the most useful thing to observe while I avoid the "b" word is to monitor how I'm feeling. So, the question to answer is: How does replacing "but" with "and" impact my internal processing - thinking and feeling?
Maybe tomorrow, as I monitor the absence of the "b" word, noticings will surface about what else is happening in my brain. It seems like it has to be good.
